Back before people routinely attached their eyeballs to cell phone screens, magazines and subscriptions to them were a way of gathering information and finding entertainment that is now sadly lost to many people. When I attended college in the days before the internet and even a personal television was not possible, the arrival of one’s magazine subscription was eagerly anticipated, and it would be poured over with every article savored…
