Boeing Astronauts to Return to Earth on SpaceX Crewed Dragon.

It’s official….. the astronauts who went into space on the Boeing Starliner will return to Earth in February on a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson announced the decision at a briefing on Saturday, which means astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams will remain in orbit until early next year, when a SpaceX craft is scheduled to return with them on board.

I once spoke with Astronaut Rick Searfoss (RIP ) who always got a kick out of constantly getting the question "how do you go to the bathroom in space?" So many things that could be asked about his missions, and that was the top question.

No. The Crew Dragon is not on social media. So no flaming you-know-what.

I wonder if the astronauts are feeling positive about their prolonged stay on the ISS, or are dreading it?
Will there be enough snacks and toilet paper?

That is just unbelievable. They have no choice but to stay sane and deal with it.
It makes me feel uncomfortable at best. Creeped out more likely.

Boeing never should have launched that capsule! They had problems with it right up until just hours before the launch and of course the launch was scratched a couple of times before that. I hope the astronauts didn't have any pressing business to attend to that they put off until they returned 8 days later! And what about their families. This is just a mess, but the two are dealing with it (at least publicly) quite well. Good thing there is enough room on the other space craft to bring them home in February.
