Interesting comment. Someone here assumed that I'm 80 years old; how they came to that conclusion and figure, I have no idea.
Well, that could be because your intro post says:
Hi, I''m new to this forum and look forward to sharing postings with others here. Even though I'm 80, I'm still working part-time and live in Queens, New York. I'm researching other places to retire to but have not yet made up my mind.
I live in a rent-stabilized apartment in NYC but am wondering if I should buy a co-op or condo in a less expensive area. The only drawback to that idea is that with apartment ownership, HOA fees and special assessments can increase at any time and for any reason. At least with a rent stabilized apt. I know the rent can only be increased by a certain percentage every two year. Also, I don't drive so if I did make a move, it would have to be in a walkable city. I was looking into Lancaster, Pa. as the downtown area does appear walkable and it would be cheaper than living in NYC.

You believe everything you read? People make up stories all the time online.

Interesting comment. Someone here assumed that I'm 80 years old; how they came to that conclusion and figure, I have no idea. It does sound though that most participants are much older so, no, I probably wasn't qualified to join. If that is how old people act, I don't want to be lumped into that category. Yes, I'm still here folks; I just enjoy laughing at your comments; you are really funny.
IMO, in my opinion, you should not be laughing..
Hmmm, seems someone has been reading my history of comments here. That interested, huh?
if you are a member, why would other members not be interested in
your reading history, just as you can view ours..

everyone here is not in their 80's - I'm not sure why somebody thought you were . But doesn't matter.

I am 61

All forums do not suit all people - if this one does not suit you, you can just not log in and turn off notifications- you dont have to close your account

However most forums especially the nice ones, do have rules about personal attacks and rules about bringing up threads, especially closed threads, in other threads (they were closed for a reason after all ) and discussing moderation on threads

Something to keep in mind for any other forums you join.

ETA - somebody thought you were 80 because you said so yourself in your own post on another thread 😵‍💫

Exactly. I even provided the link. That's the problem with liars. They can't keep their stories straight.
Come on - I was just having fun with you all in my introduction. You didn't think I would give my true story online, did you. None of it was true. My past is very ambiguous but not what I described in my intro.

Yes, I just wanted to have fun with my introductory thread. Funny that you all fell for it. Ha!
So Lying is fun to you is it ?... well you're not welcome here..

Also if you genuinely dont understand why you were banned - ask Matrix for clarification - but as was said above, he does have a life outside the forum, so give him time to reply

Another good suggestion was ask a friend to look over your posts - somebody outside the situation might have a clearer view on it.

with both the above be prepared to take on board the answers.

As I said in one of your previous threads - you also need to stop re hashing all this on thread after thread - that is not fair on the other member who has wisely kept out of these public postmortems of the original event
There is a reason such behaviour is not allowed.

I hope you can take on board polite advice - whether you choose to stay here or join other forums and social media sites elsewhere.
