Addiction to cosmetic surgery and medical ethics

People erroneously assume that they are always in trustworthy hands when going to a plastic surgeon. The truth is far more sobering. One doctor once told me that if I kept seeking the opinion of different urologists, I would eventually find some scalpel-happy one who would be very eager to sterilize me by any means at his disposal. Same applies to plastic surgeons or any other medical professional.

Reminds me of the following:

The thing is...they rarely look any better for it. You can usually tell when someone has had a procedure, which makes it pretty pointless.

Katie Price's latest facelift could leave her with 'stroke symptoms'

This is so sad, one surgeon was decent enough to refuse any more treatment.
The stupidity of facelift addictions is that surgery, as Miss Price's surgeon pointed out, can have serious detrimental consequences. Whereas in the hands of a skilled makeover artiste she wouldn't need to go under the knife.

There's no reason why these amazing results cannot be, with patience and practice, self achieved.
