I witnessed a murder today

It happens here every couple of years in the park across the street from my apartment complex.

I’m not sure why the crows swarm and gather, sort of like a crow convention, but it is a bit unnerving to hear them all squawking at once.

On my morning walks there are always small groups of crows feeding.

They always have one or two crows in the trees that acts as a spotter to alert the rest of the group when someone is getting close to where they are feeding.

Ah but that's not what I heard, a conspiracy of ravens claim that it was all contrived. A convocation of eagles concurred much the same, and a gaggle of geese just went on and on about it.

Just like GoneFishin', I have got far too much time on my hands..............

Yeh I've seen that around here too, and they always leave the ground below them a beautiful white carpet. 😊
