U.S. citizens. Will you prepare for civil unrest in November?

In the phoenix area. I can tell you that for the most part it is like people have woken from a bad dream. Far far less in your face intimidation and hate mongering. While there are still pockets of rabid outrageous people…it is much more subdued. This seems pretty business as usual.

Reminds me of the Cuba scare when salesmen profited from selling personal bomb shelters to private citizens with the motto “never can be too prepared” What if we all turned into zombies and ate each others brains out? How do you prepare for that? Until the future becomes the present I will act accordingly.

I'm not worried about it one bit. There may be a couple of isolated flare ups, thugs making trouble for the fun of it, but there isn't going to be any unified civil uprising.
You might be shocked, because this is exactly what people are being asked to do if their candidate loses. Well-known and broadly respected organizations have posted web pages that look like some kind of terrorist manifesto. And it is being done with absolutely no sign of reticence or shame about it. Quite the contrary.

If you didn't intend for it to be political, then why would there be a threat of civil unrest in November, when everyone votes for President? What other reason would you. fear civil unrest in November?
I was tipped off. YOU mentioned politics.

I think the same critters, who went amok in the last Presidential election, will be back at work. But this time, authorities will be better prepared to respond. I expect the election result deniers will be back.
Wonder if the American flagpole will be utilized in the same way this time.

You're funny Chic.....tipped off.....I mentioned politics. YOU mentioned unrest in NOVEMBER, now you're too afraid to say why you did that. Hey, saying it passive aggressively like you do, is still mentioning politics. You started a political thread and don't have the backbone to admit it. Funny stuff right there. Have a nice day.

I feel like I’m reading a thread about a third world country, not about our neighbours to the south.
Sadly, we’re potentially more dangerous than any third world country you could name.

I’m confident that we’ll work through this.

I’m much more concerned with the growth and cost to service our national debt than I am about what might happen in November.

Yeah, we've probably already gone way too far here. Better that we all flee to our echo chambers to discuss such things. God forbid we have honest discussions that might bridge the divide by admitting this shouldn't be a holy war and that compromise and accommodation might be a more productive path.
It's not that. Matrix will shut down political talk, but I think survival tactics are interesting and useful.

Doesn't anyone remember, back in the day, not too long ago, when the Military would be called in to control unrest in the US, when police were overwhelmed and riots became uncontrollable? We have lots of unrest right now. Protestors who aren't at all peaceful. Why hasn't the military been called in?? Last time I remember the military being called in was back in June of 2020 (re: george floyd)

Because public discontent is part of the march toward the New World Order and the upcoming reset, my opinion.

Unfortunately, the first clause of the Second Amendment has all but been forgotten. "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state". I say this because I truly believe every community should have a militia that is made up of private citizens who can be called upon in times of civil unrest or where there are external threats, natural disasters, or other emergencies where local or national security and stability are at risk. I do not like the idea of militarized police all over the United States because they can become a threat to the security of a free state.

That's what the National Guard is.

Some folks will be angry no matter which way things go in November, but a HUGE majority of Americans are average, non-violent, normal people who will be sitting at home watching unrest unfold on TV until January.

The only thing I'm gonna stock up on is popcorn.
