Do you believe we never went to the moon?

Back during the 19660's, we all took the reality of the lunar human exploration claims for granted. Do you still consider it that way? I personally have some doubts.

I have never doubted it at all.

I saw too much first-hand. Hardware plants and test facilities I visited personally as a kid. Equipment salvaged after the fact which I saw and in some cases touched in space travel museums later on. How earnest and enthusiastic in it people participating in the effort were before and after the era of the actual expeditions, as seen in interviews and books they wrote.

There are others, educated in adjacent fields and technologies, who have never doubted it for a second. There were and still are people around who took part in the effort. Far too many for such a wild conspiracy to have taken place with no credible whistle blowers.

People have raised wild theories based on photograph misinterpretation and other dubious "evidence." These found a ready market among a certain segment of the population.

Do you believe that all 6 moon landings were faked and that none of the 12 astronauts actually walked on the moon or that just the first landing was faked? 🤔
I had my very serious doubts up to a few years ago. Then I read an explanation as to why they were presently having so much difficulty with what appeared to have been relatively easier during the1960's, and am not as skeptical any longer.

I've heard this conspiracy theory but it's one I'm not sold on it. I do wear the tin foil hat re: JFK and RFK and Covid 19 but I just don't buy that this whole moon race / moon landing was faked.

:giggle:
Really? The Moon race? Actually, I have never heard the Moon race between the Soviet Union and the USA being doubted. Was it?

I'm reminded of the movie Interstellar, where schools even taught this conspiracy theory and hugged it very hard.

That was rooted in a panic over climate change, which led to insane policies that ended up doing even more damage by bringing about a blight that wiped out most food and other plant species. As grasses and trees died out quickly, huge dust storms arose.

Wokeness ended up dooming most of humanity aside from the small faction that eventually left the Earth (Plan B)... and eventually created both the wormhole and the tesseract.

I think a lot of the audience doesn't understand most of what is going on in that film.

I think it's just a myth that there are some, who actually think the moon landing was faked.
Actually, back in the early 70s, I met a gal who'd lived in South America (forget which country) for a time because her dad was with the U.S. embassy staff in that country and she said that among the citizens who lived there, including very-educated ones, there were a lot who expressed disbelief of the moon landing. She said they said stuff like, "Oh, the Americans! You can't believe anything they come up with!"
