Do you like the Bee Gees?

Barry Gibb caught my interest in the 70’s, and I was a big fan of his in that whole disco era.


Interviewed recently in his home in Miami … the Bee Gee’s story:

Not to be mean, they were adorable little boys, but whenever I watch their childhood performances, I think a special lifetime achievement award should go to their dentist.

yep I don't know that Australian dentists ( and British) were all that fabulous back in the day...

I never found Barry to be anything special, my pash was for Maurice.... .. however given all they've been through... it's incredible to think that Barry has still been married to Linda sine 1970...

she has had a HUGE amount to put up with.. women chasing him ever since they met in 1967... just amazing that they've stayed together through it all..

I just went through their song list and the only one I remember hearing is Staying Alive. To be honest, except for that song, I don't like the way they sound nor their music.

that horrible sog was their second reincarnation so to speak. They'd been having hits since the 60's as a band.. and it all pretty much died off, then they had the chance to write for Saturday night fever and Grease.. ..this time Disco.. and they were catapulted back into th stratosphere...

The early Bee Gees were when they were at their best in my opinion.
