I have a pair of hearing aids spell check won't let me type the name, however, they have Bluetooth that can stream music from my phone, answer calls and converse with Siri but I don't like wearing them because they are too heavy.

Just curious. Are these your 1st set of hearing aids?

My dad wore only one and he always complained about how uncomfortable it was. They didn’t have the miniature ones like today. His was wireless, but it wrapped around his ear and it bothered him.

My hearing aids have the Bluetooth feature too but over the years I've not used it much due to power outages that cause dropping off problems and it was a hassle to reconnect but this feature is very nice when it was connected...I am just not tech savvy enough.

My mom had hearing aids. She needed them, but she hardly wore them. When I called her, she couldn't understand a word I was saying. I'm screaming into the phone telling her to put them on, and she couldn't understand me. By the time I was hoarse, she'd finally would put them in. We played this game over and over.

Sorry to hear (sic) you need them. Music is such a big part of my life, I can't imagine.

That said, I'm noticing a real degradation in my eyesight these days. Even my optician is surprised at how much worse it is year to year. As we age, dignity goes out the window.

My mother was profoundly deaf, but she regarded hearing aids as a stigma and would get mad if anyone suggested them.

I got some on the advice of an ENT doctor. They do make a big difference. I got them from the local VA clinic. They installed an ap on my smart phone which is quite helpful.
