With the cat and that view, please ☺️

Dropped $308 at Costco Business Center yesterday and still need some more stuff from regular Costco when we go later this week.

To be fair, DH's favorite coffee was on a $5 off sale so I snagged 5 bags of those beans plus a can of my coffee, so coffee alone ate up $75 but we should be good for about 6 months. $15 for laundry detergent (also on sale) and $24 for toilet paper. $31 for 8 lbs of butter (starting to accumulate holiday baking ingredients), $45 for some traditional Christmas gifts that I give the kids every year. All that accounts for well more than half of the total. The rest was fresh and frozen produce.

It sure does go fast, doesn't it? 💸

If you've never been to a Costco Business Center and there's one nearby, I recommend stopping in. There's some overlap with regular Costcos, but they also have items like these. (I happened to take a photo of these goat carcasses yesterday when shopping because I joked with DD over text, asking her if she needed any whole goats or lambs or was her freezer already stocked. She asked me to pick up three for her. 🤣)

we don't have those here , unfortunately... and I have a suspicion large as they are, that our regulalr Costco's are just a shadow of those in the US

I bought some babydoll dresses for my older daughter, who is in her third trimester with twins. I thought they'd be comfy, paired with leggings, both now and after the birth. I screenshotted them to her first and got her approval.

I felt self-conscious looking through the rack for her size, thinking people may be looking at me and (justifiably) thinking "Aren't you a little old for that sort of dress?" 😂

glorious looking machine... I understand sewing machines are incredibly expensive now...
Eye wateringly expensive, but it's an expense that I am happy to pay. The machine will get used and let me share an endearing moment Holly. The lady is leafing through the manual looking at some of the wizardry the machine can do. Some time later she showed me an old shirt of mine on which she had, using her new machine, embroidered my name. I do so love my lady.

I need to go to Dollar Tree and buy a broom. That's $1.25 that DD and DS won't inherit.

ETA: I just realized that I can use my $4 Mega Millions winnings to buy the broom and have money left over!
