Why is democracy so difficult and politics so volatile?

Immigration is a tremendous factor in politics here in the U.S. and in Europe. White people are becoming a minority on the national level. Whites are already minorities in several cities and with the constant flow of immigrants into our country, nonwhites have less and less power. Plus, it's a natural tendency to want to be among your own kind, whether it's race, religion, or culture. The nation we seniors knew growing up no longer exists. I'm not saying that's good or bad; it's just the way it is.

I double posted something that the crazy AI told me wrong. When I told it it was wrong, the answer:

"I apologize for the misunderstanding. It seems there isn't much information available about women specifically leaving cities in Nordic countries. The trend I mentioned earlier mainly focuses on women leaving rural areas for urban centers or abroad.

Would you like to know more about urbanization trends in Nordic countries, or is there another topic you're curious about?"

A few days ago, I tried to find out more about a tragedy that happened locally years ago. That creepy AI ended by saying "my thoughts are with the family." MY THOUGHTS?! You don't have thoughts... you're a bucket of bolts! Yeah, it's creeping me out more every time I use it.

I’m confused. Isn’t this considered discussing politics? ( which isn’t allowed )
Well, it was never intended to be about political issues. It was intended to ask the question as to why people get so emotionally involved in politics as opposed to other elements of society. It was to be more of a psychological exploration than anything.
Sorry it took a turn.

I’d like to honestly say why it ā€˜does’ bother me but it’s against the rules so I can’t.
Thank you for explaining that to me.
If there are rules against discussing politics, it should apply to everyone.

Sorry. I probably should have known that it would lead to discussing politics. Live and learn.

Three subjects that have a reputation for getting humans murderously enraged:

1. Religion
2. Politics
3. Race

That's why discussing them is not recommended if we wish to promote a peaceful social environment. I knew this and yet casually mentioned something that I considered totally inoffensive about politics to this behemoth who had been peacefully and quietly sitting next to me on the plane heading for China, and he suddenly looked as if he wanted to open one the airplane's' escape exit doors and hurl me through.

Thanks for the advice on not getting involved in any religious discussions. (Just joking) ;)

Well, if our Lord and Savior wants us to get involved, then we have to get involved regardless of the social consequences since it becomes our Christian duty.

Mark 16:15
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matt 28:
18. Then Jesus came to them and said, ā€œAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 2. and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.ā€
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

I'm confused. I thought you said it wasn't recommended, and it gets people murderously enraged.
Yet it's commanded.
Are you sure that's a good plan.

Angered evil sprits and their enraged puppet atheists are irrelevant to whether it is a good plan or not.

Race should be discussed for sure.
It depends on how it is discussed, and by whom, and with what intentions. For example such discussions were once a common prelude to lynchings in the USA down South during Apartheid.

I think that good relationships are the most important factor in making people happy, which is why "strong social support networks" is #1 in the list (if that list is in order of importance). So the question is: how do we strengthen our social support network and improve our relationships?
Let me know. I have little support and few relationships.
