Is it Possible to Detect an AI participating on a Discussion Forum?

I met a lady on the Internet who was always gushing over her dogs, her cats, and especially over her beloved departed horse. So maybe I should have suspected that she was merely an AI.

Those things of themselves don't seem to justify any serious concern. However, since the forum owner said that some were harming the forum, then they can't be as harmless as they might superficially appear.
 

Let's see, stupid jerky humans getting their jollies with troll-like behavior or dopey AI behavior. They are both a waste of time, so I don't care enough to bother. There is nothing wrong with posting pictures of cats.
