Men: Which Aftershave has impressed the Ladies most?

Before shaving my head my wife liked me to use fahrenheit aftershave if we were going out. After shaving my head that larger area using that as an aftershave was just to much.

As funny as this might sound Germ X moisturizing hand sanitizer with aloe works best as an after shave. It prevents razor burn, has a light clean smell that dissipates after about 1/2 hour.

One of my favorites is a very mild generic "blue" that has a "clean laundry" scent. Even this is used sparingly, just a swipe of a finger on the back of my neck.

On my face I use an unscented Witch Hazel with Aloe astringent.

On rare occasions in the evening I'll use a swipe of a classic Bay Rum. I'm careful with it, since it's a little spicy. The brand I use is an excellent toner by itself but too strongly scented to be used as such.

I have Aqua Velva. First time I bought it in years. Doesn't have much of a scent. The only cologne that I have used that got comments was, Elizabeth Taylor's Passion for Men.

Do they still make Old Spice? My dad used it as did some of the guys in my early dating life.
You can still buy the "classic" scent and it isn't far off from the original.

But the brand name is now used on everything from car tires to video games. 🤪 Ok, not really, but a host of wacky stronger scents like a bag of Jolly Ranchers or something. It's now an "urban" brand somehow tied to sports.

Men’s fragrances were an advertising ploy insinuating we needed to smell pretty. nowadays everyone is allergic to chemical smells meant to cover up natural scents that draw people together or repel them

I think that the one I really liked the fragrance of was Drakken Noir (something like that ?). The thing is that like with ladies Perfumes, they smell differently on each person.
I remember my friend used to wear Sand and Sable, and on her, it smelled heavenly, but when I tried some, I didn’t like how it smelled on me at all. On the other hand, I loved Tabu, but she did not like that on her at all.

Years ago, I bought my husband a Watkins brand aftershave that smelled pretty good to me, but when he tried it on, it was awful on him. I gave it to a friend of ours, and OMG….. it was fabulous on that man ! I told him that he would probably have girls following him down the street, it was that good !
So, three different smells from the same aftershave, one in the bottle, one on my husband, and one on our friend, Rodney, and totally different results.

I hate that smell.. smells like gin...

My granda used to wear old spice that was 60 years ago... and he also had a open razor and a Rzor strop hanging in his bathroom...

My hatred of that smell has nothing to do with my granda.. more to do with the disgusting smell of Gin....

My favourite aftershave on a man is Christian Dior... Farenheit... I do like Paco Rabanne Millions but so many people took to wearing that, I went off it a little bit...Tom Ford -Oud Wood, is a good clean woody fresh smelling Aftershave...

..but with any aftershave or perfume it's all in the application. I don't want to be tasting it if I drink from a glass that the man has handed to me, because he's got too much of it on..

Yvonne I LOVED Tabu when I was a teen and early 20's... really loved it.. when I think back it was probably too heavy for me so young...

Yes! I use it regularly.
In the Old Days, the Old Spice scent was too heavy. Their newer scents are much better. They're lighter and more natural.

I stopped using aftershave just a few months after I started shaving. Even I didn't like how they smelled. I used men's cologne when I first started dating, but quit doing that, too. ALL men's scented stuff smells better than it did when I was young.

Currently, I rub in a little bit of moisturizer, but only when I give myself a total clean shave, which isn't very often.

All Spice is the only aftershave for which I have received spontaneous compliments from females of the human species. So based on that repeated reaction, I have continued using it after bathing and shaving. Yes, I do seem, to remember when the All Spice scent was far more powerful.
