What have you bought recently?

I sent the onesies back, they were very comfy but, I don't think I would wear them very much so, decided they would just end up taking up space which, could be occupied by something I would wear lots and lots .... and then I saw them ... a pair of jeans in a really nice denim, perfect fit and exactly the right length, which I will wear all year round. Guess what I will be wearing tomorrow ... :);)

Good for you...(y). and just to be a copy cat I bought a new pair of jeans this week as well.. and they're identical to ones I have had for the last 3 years and I wear those more than any other jeans... and what was great was I was able to buy them online from the shop ( not amazon)... saved me a 40 mile round trip.. for £2.99 postage

Just ordered diaper doublers for TGS's overnight stays. He's not yet potty trained and his nearly 3 year old bladder is beyond the capacity of his nighttime diaper. Am tired of washing sheets and PJs every time he stays over - plus being wet wakes him early.

Talk about an exciting purchase, right?

Other than that, recent purchases have mostly been food, household supplies and a start on holiday needs.

I bought some "Monch Monch" fiber, though I haven't found any positive reviews about it (only found a few reviews, talking about it is like eating cardboard and can cause constipation, oh dear!).

But I'm hoping to use it for the wrong-eating that I'm looking forward to (all the wonderful holiday foods). Supposedly it has microscopic fibers that swell up in your stomach and capture sugar and carbs that are in there (take with food) and then I guess the gut has to digest the fiber which slows down the release of the calories.

I'm thinking it will be like I can eat stuffing made with white bread and it will digest as if it had been whole wheat bread.

My grocery shopping included a bottle of tarragon. I hadn’t been able to find it in other stores.

Stopped in a big box type clearance store. Found a Kirkland Stainless Steel frying pan from a set. $35. If I don’t like it, not much of a loss.

The recent SF thread about harmonicas got me remembering how much I enjoyed playing them years ago. So I bought two new blues harps this week (keys of G and C) and will see if the ability comes back. So far the dogs seem to find my playing interesting.
My grandmother played the Harmonica.. She loved it, and would entertain her friends, and at outings the old people would go on, she would stand up front of the coach and play the Harmonica for them

I've been reading about how much worse for the body black plastics are, so ordered new reusable K cups in bright colors yesterday and will pitch my black ones. (The advice is actually throw away black plastic utensils, food containers, etc., If they're recycled, whatever that bad stuff is will just keep reappearing.)

Also ordered more slow release magnesium because it was on sale at AMZ and I need to take it daily.

Turns out we're having both DSs and their families plus another young family here for Halloween night. Looked through our decorations and had DH order some fresh ones that will arrive today.
