Tablets and I Pads, Carriers don't like it when you pay for them in full-forced financing?

I was searching for tablets and Ipads and at least one carrier doesn't want customers to pay for it all at once in cash or charge. They don't call it financing but it's financing.

They're forcing a scheme in which you get a special plan for extra money because there are rebates that make the device cheaper. Problem is the customer has cancel that plan 6 months later. So one is already in for the price of that plan and if one changes carriers they must pay off the device.

I've seen this before the cell phone companies hate it when you pay for them in full when you sign up. Unlocked tablets or Ipads not as abundant as cell phones.

We have had many Kindles and iPads over the years.
We were never forced into a scheme... They are always paid in full when purchased.

Who are you dealing with?

I don’t understand this statement. It runs counter to my experience and the experience of others I know.
Perhaps you should try shopping at non cell phones providers first. Then check out getting cell service from the various independent providers like Boost, Consumer Cellular, etc.
