Week ago bought on Amazon some new $35 black Vamjam running shoes that I received yesterday and feel fine on feet. I wear out soles on such cheap shoes every few months due to so much urban street walking and d on abrasive sidewalks and pavement.

Received a message this morning that the $45 Levi 512 jeans in Throttle blue color 30x30 Amazon ordered will arrive Friday. My Levi 511 street jeans don't last that long on seats and knees. When out in the field or hiking, I wear Levi 505's that have more robust cotton fibers.

@hollydolly PM me for my address so you can mail all those Lidl things (except the grapes because they won't travel well).
I can't wait to taste the strawberry Aero... normally they're just peppermint, caramel or chocolate flavour.. so this'll be interesting.

The Palmiers I usually, in fact always make them from scratch myself.. and my daughter will very often ask me to make a box of them for her at Christmas, but she has't asked me this year so I thought I'll just buy ready made for just me

the dates are huge big dates, so they'll last a long time.. ..and the crisps.. there was several delicous sounding flavours, but I wans't going to buy more than one packet, so I chose the Parmesan & truffle,.. because I already like that flavour in Ravioli...

these foodie items were all from Lidl.. which IMO altho' similar to aldi , has better quality food....

I bought a good crossword puzzle book. It has a spiral spine which holds the nice crossword pencil my mother had and came to me. I've had it several years. It's in a box decorated like a crossword as is the pencil. There are extra leads and erasers. I thought it was a gimmick but I see now it's very useful and made for the purpose. Pardon me! She probably never used it because it was "too nice". 🤗 I will use it because it IS nice.
My mother loved crossword puzzles. I do too and would do the ones I found in a newspaper here and there. It was time to get my very own book. 243013534_6266.jpgAnd a tee very similar to this. It looks good under my denim shirt.

Very nice. I think my favourite is the lampshade. :)

Mine too Trish...I really like that. I had gone deliberately to look for a new lampshade and I wanted a specific colour , and I saw this after Id looked in several stores... and I just thought I had to have it...

I like everything obviously.. but I love that Emerald Green Picture frame...

On an Amazon search I found a product, Odoban, that was marked “not competitively priced”. There were several of the same item marked like that. I didn’t buy it. Will check in a store just to compare. I’ve never noticed anything like this.

Just received the 2048Wh portable battery power station and 350W portable solar panel strip that I ordered a few days ago. Arrived several days ahead of schedule!

I'm glad I also bought a folding "luggage trolley" to strap it to. 62 pounds isn't something I just grab and carry any more. Even the 4-panel solar array weighs 31 pounds, which might sound like nothing but it's awkward since the folded "package" is large in area (folded size of 35.6 x 24.1 inches).

At least I got it at a substantial discount (half price) and got around $225 in "cash back rewards" on my credit card.

Yesterday I paid my credit card in full which I do every month. This had Juniper's emergency vet bill on it so she's paid in full and her little butt can't be repossessed.

I also went thrift shopping for therapy yesterday. Spent 16 dollars at 4 thrift shops and got all kinds of stuff. After that Trader Joe's. They were rearranging the store, putting in more frozen cases and the place was a hot mess. Didn't get everything on my list but the got essentials. I'll go back in a week or two.

That's a nice haul @hollydolly I like the velvet frame. Those mugs look like a nice comfortable shape also.

Europe seems to have all these good tasty looking treats. Those Aero's look really tasty but probably have dairy in them I can't have.

yes Remy you wouldn't be able to have the Aero's if you're lactose itolerant...

The mugs were expensive because they're le Creuset.. and something I'd always lusted ater but never could justify the price..but given as I'd got ''free money' so to speak..I splashed out.

I'm a little bit in love with the Green Velvet frame...so I agree with you there that it's nice..I got it from Homesense

..as for all our 'treats'' yes despite that oft repeated staement by many that our food is horrible.. it simply isn't true...:giggle:

Today I received delivery of Bert's Bees foot cream and a box of 90, 13 gal. drawstring kitchen bags from Amazon. Shopped for a few grocery items.

I'm so excited about what I just now ordered:

It's going to be stuck to the stationary, outer side my slider glass door, where I can easily watch them from the couch!

I bought Christmas presents. I got my daughter a walking pad. It’s like a non powered treadmill and can slide right under a bed or couch to be stored. She’s been talking about wanting one for a year.
I got my son a good set of headphones. He’s a gamer.
I got my husband some outdoor clothing… some of his favorite tops from Under Armor snd a pair of cargo pants.
