Whay am I being logged out when I have site "remember me"

So, ever since I had my issues with computer, and had to re install windows, I had to log back into all my sites. For some reason, this site occasionally logs me back out...even though I click on "Remember Me" . I usually keep my computer powered on when I am in and out over the course of the day.
All of my other sites are remembering my log in. Is there something else I need to do??

My computer does that, but not my tablet where I spend most of my time.
I think the security may overdue your decision to save the password (?)

marie..actually I had the same problem this week. It kept logging me out of here even tho' I have my password to be rememberd, and then asking for my P/W to log back in. Nothing had changed here, and all my other sites were fine... but after about 3 days it started remembering again.. so it might just be a blip with the software of this forum !
 
When you close your browser, the SF site cookies are likely being deleted.
So next time you come to the forum, you have to log in.

In your browser privacy and security settings, check and see what is cleared when the browser is closed.
I entered seniorforums.com as an exception in my FireFox browser settings. SF cookies are never deleted.
Other sites cookies that aren't entered as an exception in my browser settings are deleted each time I close my browser.
The SF cookies aren't deleted on my computer and I'm never logged out when I close my browser.

I never ask a site to remember me, but I do
save my passwords on my computer, when
I go to most sites, I am in, but if a site does
require me to sign in, them my login details
are in the window.

I don't know if I am silly, but so far all is OK.
