Never seen that brand around here Rose. Kirkland's super premium is somewhat comparable to Haagen Daz. I tried it for the first time last month.Tillamook brand
Oh, boy; I can identify with this! All those boxes of chocolates and other treats the stores put in readily available spots, so easy to grab. I usually play right into their hands and grab one.I let my husband do the grocery shopping while I wait in the car. That way I don’t get side tracked. This time of the year is extra dangerous cause of all the holiday treats they have out. I’m with you on this one CC4ccPuffs
OH!! Yes, Ice Cream. Sigh. BLUE BELL: Rocky Road. Do they distribute Blue Bell in your town?Ice Cream...it's a toss up between Haagen Daz vanilla and HD rum raisin.
After a south Texas man's heart - my DH. I have weaned him to baked pork chops (am a damn Yankee) and a pecan dessert recipe better than pecan pie! I love the top of pecan pies and the crust, if it is a great crust. That is my recipe: only the good parts. Can skip all the gooey stuff.Fried pork chops and for desert a big piece of pecan pie.

Every time I make a critical comment here (I wish I would stop!) I remember how, in the past, a kindness or an unkindness has made or ruined my day. When I got home ... I noticed she had put 2 in the box. I looked at the receipt and she never charged me for them. I felt all emotional at her kindness.
Pasta puttanesca! Now that I'm not catering to the tastes of three children who prefer chicken nuggets and mac 'n' cheese, I've been enjoying cooking. I made this pasta dish several weeks ago, and it was delicious, if I do say so myself. Of course, my waistline doesn't need all those carbs, but darn, it was good.
Wow. I'm not sure what your point is, but Reddit is hardly an expert source. Of course, neither is Wikipedia. Here's an appetite enhancer for you:
It is an easy sauce, briefly cooked, and is very fragrant and spicy. Puttanesca translates as “in the style of the whore.” ... Puttana in turn arises from the Latin word putida which means stinking. --Reddit
Wow. I'm not sure what your point is ...
... it is in fact a well-known, legitimate pasta recipe. And it doesn't "stink."
My sister-in-law’s made from scratch pecan pie - including the homemade crust.
Speaking of which, do you say “pee-can” or “p-cahn”??
