One Bite and You'll Know...

I let my husband do the grocery shopping while I wait in the car. That way I don’t get side tracked. This time of the year is extra dangerous cause of all the holiday treats they have out. I’m with you on this one CC4ccPuffs
Oh, boy; I can identify with this! All those boxes of chocolates and other treats the stores put in readily available spots, so easy to grab. I usually play right into their hands and grab one. 😁 I'm trying to be better this year.

Pasta puttanesca! Now that I'm not catering to the tastes of three children who prefer chicken nuggets and mac 'n' cheese, I've been enjoying cooking. I made this pasta dish several weeks ago, and it was delicious, if I do say so myself. Of course, my waistline doesn't need all those carbs, but darn, it was good.

Here's an appetite enhancer for you:

It is an easy sauce, briefly cooked, and is very fragrant and spicy. Puttanesca translates as “in the style of the whore.” ... Puttana in turn arises from the Latin word putida which means stinking. --Reddit

Wow. I'm not sure what your point is, but Reddit is hardly an expert source. Of course, neither is Wikipedia.

Perhaps this is more helpful? Spaghetti alla Puttanesca

Either way, it is in fact a well-known, legitimate pasta recipe. And it doesn't "stink."
