Favorite Christmas carol, and favorite Christmas song

It's hard to pick only one favorite in each category, I know, but you can do it!

My choices:
Favorite Christmas carol - "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen"

Favorite Christmas song - "White Christmas"

N.B. Christmas carols generally have a religious theme or overtones and are usually very old, whereas Christmas songs do not have those distinctions.

Favourite carol is In the Bleak Mid Winter.

Favourite Christmas song.... Wham! singing Last Christmas. My three grandchildren (15,16 and 19) also chose it as their favourite.

Wham's Last Christmas has become the UK's Christmas number one for a second consecutive year.

George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley's festive classic beat songs by Mariah Carey, Gracie Abrams, Tom Grennan and Ariana Grande to top the chart.

Ridgeley said he was "especially pleased" for his late band-mate, who died in 2016 and had always wanted the song to reach number one.

My favourite carol is probably Silent Night. Or maybe Joy to the World.

My favourite Christmas song is easy - John Lennon's And so this is Christmas.
Such a moving and thought provoking song.
