If you read the article, you will note this lawyer's actions are focused on ALL vaccines - that includes flu, tetanus, rubella (German measles), hepatitis, etc.

I remember a time when photos of American children crippled/incapacitated by polio were common. I guess we'll get to see it happen again if some people have their way.

The lawyer helping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pick federal health officials for the incoming Trump administration has petitioned the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine, which for decades has protected millions of people from a virus that can cause paralysis or death.

That campaign is just one front in the war that the lawyer, Aaron Siri, is waging against vaccines of all kinds. Mr. Siri has also filed a petition seeking to pause the distribution of 13 other vaccines; challenged, and in some cases quashed, Covid vaccine mandates around the country; sued federal agencies for the disclosure of records related to vaccine approvals; and subjected prominent vaccine scientists to grueling videotaped depositions.

... One critic is Dr. Stanley Plotkin, who in the 1960s invented the vaccine that eliminated rubella, a disease that killed thousands of newborns. Dr. Plotkin, who was subjected to a nine-hour deposition as an expert witness in a lawsuit brought by Mr. Siri, said having Mr. Siri in a position of influence “would be a disaster.” He added: “I find him laughable in many ways — except, of course, that he’s a danger to public health.”

The part of the original post that I noticed most was where it said "I remember a time when photos of American children crippled/incapacitated by polio were common. I guess we'll get to see it happen again if some people have their way."

I HAD polio. I was fortunate enough to escape being crippled from it.

So it's the tone you objected to? Yes, I've noticed the tone of some of your posts too.

I too had polio as a child, no, not crippled either. Just darn glad it was available for my 3 children.
 
I had thought Bobby Jr. had some promise but he obviously doesn't. I grew up with kids with crippled legs.
I was on the original polio vaccine group. I live while they lived lives of total hell. I also had the original Small pox
Scratch sore on the arm. Basically, the end to those awful diseases soon followed mostly. It's giving the public safety
not radical BS brainstorming crazy stuff. Some of the Covid stuff was junk, others worked. That is where the buck stops.
Not everyone's system works well, many have problems all their lives. Some of us are allergic to all stuff. Life isn't easy
for many.

I never liked a dentist that said he loved his job either. Course they hire someone to clean your teeth too.
