I just purchased a Cell2Jack and was wondering about other's experience.
What it does is connect home phones with up to two cell phones using bluetooth.
I think Panasonic makes home phone that connect to cell phones too.
I paid $35 for the Cell2Jack and Panasonic phones that connect to cell cost about $100
If it works out, I will save about $500 a year by not needing a landline phone.
I've already canceled my landline service and so far the Cell2Jack is doing okay.
Voice quality isn't as good as landline but no cell service is.
So I talk on my home phone receiver but it still sounds and "feels" like cell phone conversation.
Can walk out of the house with the cell and it will auto connect to Cell2Jack when I return.
i did have to tweak some settings for optimal usage.
Increased ring, speaker, microphone volume and off hook voltage.
The Cell2Jack operates off 5V power input and the suggestions are to use a power adapter.
One that likely came with the cell phone and plugs into a wall socket works.
But I have a USB port on the back of my WiFi router and that's what I use.
