I Refuse To Eat That...

Runny egg white
Liver
Mac n Cheese
Sardines, caviar, squirrel, horsemeat, sushi (even though I've never eaten these)

I don't eat ANY shellfish or organ meats, raw or cooked. Red meat once in a while, but like others have mentioned, I like it on the well-done side (not a charcoal briquet - just until all the pink is gone - some restaurants can't understand this). I am also not a fan of lima beans, green peas or green beans, but I like Brussels sprouts and broccoli. I dine mainly on cheese, egg or deli meat sandwiches, cereal and pasta and casseroles with a treat thrown in once in a while.

I got food poisoning from eating horsemeat burgers in Northern Italy... We didn't know it was horsemeat we though they were regular burgers.. I didnt like the look of the meat on mine so I only ate a little bit.. my companion ate all of his.. and he was ill for 3 days

Out of everything others have listed none stands out as something I refuse to eat. Never tried Hagis but would try it. I think adventure in eating began as a teen when I worked for a small mom & pop grocery store.

For one reason or another a whole calf was ordered, head & all. The brain & eye balls were prepped for eating by the father. Could have been the prep that made what at the time to me seemed inedible, but was pleasantly surprised to be able to enjoy that.

When living in Puerto Rico eating at my wife's uncles seafood restaurant a variety of seafood was available to try. Favorite was sea turtle steak.

Won't eat-
Runny egg yolk, offal, reptile (yes I know chicken evolved from reptiles), insects, any animal of pet status; game, raw seafood only because of possible illness; tilapia and other closely farmed fish.
Yesterday I went to fry an egg. Took it out of the box cracked it and poured it into bowl but the yolk wouldn't break because there was an embryo chick in there. First time ever. o_O

In my younger days I ate just about anything. Now, I pretty much try to stick with simple, basic foods. I avoid most things that are highly processed (e.g, any sort of sausage, most things that come from a can). Meat as plain meat. Eggs. Dairy. Fruits and vegetables as plain fruits and vegetables. Simple baked goods (preferably made by my dear wife). Everything else has a very short ingredient list.

The thing about sushi is not only is it raw but it gets quite fondled right in front of you by a stranger before offered. No

When I saw this I nearly died laughing at the picture in my mind, the of thought of Gollum fondling: The Ring in "Lord of the Rings":

Except it is : My SUSHI my PRECIOUS SUSHI - stroke, stroke, stroke. ROFLOL

Scrapple is the best kept secret of the Eastern Shore of Maryland! Thin, crispy, dark golden brown. Perfect.
I can get it in some commissaries back east - and Frys in Buckeye, Arizona.

Strange to find Scrapple in Fry's in Buckey, Arizona. Makes me wonder if the management team is from the Delmarva peninsula or PA.

I don't slam shooters anymore so I'll never again eat raw oysters. 😅

I'll eat Sushi any day of the way. No to licorice, snails, Okra, and anything else slimy. No eels.

Edit: oh yea, no animal entrails of any kind.

I have never heard of squirrel being used as food for humans, it's just not a thing here..I'm sure most people would be horrified at the idea..
Squirrel is good.
why not ? It's actually delicious..Modern Haggis doesn't have sheeps innards in it as it used to..it's simly a mix of Lamb, oatmeal and spices....
Oh ok. Saw a cooking show were they made it the old fashioned way so that turned me off.

What'd you say?

Not fond of raw oysters but like Oyster Kilpatrick (oysters grilled with bacon and Worstershire sauce).
Brains or any offal.
Cooked steak with the blood running out.
Coriander.
My husband used to go fishing at night near our place and he came home with several Bream and 2 eels. Gave the eels to the next-door neighbour, they are Italian and loved them. They gave us one to taste. I tried it but could see all the spine which reminded me of a snake, put me right off it.
