Christmas Sweater Contest - no right or wrong answers, just opinions

A the best

D the least

C is confusing. If that's a pair of partridges in a pear tree, why do I see apples and why is it a pair? And if it's 2 bluebirds in an apple tree, how does that tie in to Christmas?

I suspect that C came from a foreign land.
(where Christmas is centuries older and includes more lore than in the US)

Can see we have something in common: a tendency to analyze. LOL.

I looked at the OP and thought: "Is this some sort of personality test?" LOLOL Forgot about HO HO HO. Yes, am distractible.

A. For it's pretty snowy scene.
B. For it's simplicity.
C. For it's oriental flavor.
D. For it feline festivity.

I would actually wear either C or D for their neckline inserts. Sweatshirt necks are always way too big for me.

[My italics are stuck on.]

This from a New York Times article from 1962...

"Maybe partridges perch in pear trees at Christmas in some places, as the old song says, but in our part of the world they mark the latter part of winter by perching in apple trees. When the countryman is startled by the loud whir of wings beating from his dooryard apple tree toward the woodlot, he knows it is early March."

What does the writing under the tree in pic C say, @debodun ?

B is the one I would choose ...I'm not keen on the rest because i don't like the collars on them...
I agree on the collars, but I do prefer the graphic on C. However I didn't notice the collars until you mentioned them. It's probably the first time I realized women's sweaters had collars, hmmmmmm, wonder what i've been focusing on all these years!

As an aside, I never wear red and I could never wear anything w as much going on as the 4 sweaters pictured so any of them would be personally scary for me to wear. To those that can, you have my admiration.

I chose B because if I wear it on Feb 14th, 2025 to my doctor office they won't try to give me a mental status exam, as if I didn't KNOW Christmas has come and gone two months ago.

Those doctors will use any excuse to bill at a higher rate or for unnecessary procedures....

(Am of course kidding...somewhat)

I'm like you I would never wear any jumpers like those... not even at Christmas ..I also hate wome's jummpers in geneal which have round necks. Women who are blessed up top, look particularly bad in round neck jumpers... but aside from that Christmas jumpers just don't float my boat

A and D are far too busy for my taste. Between B and C - I would pick B as it seems it would draw the least attention.
is that not the point of Christmas shirts - to draw attention? in a silly fun way.

anyway I vote for A - best

not sure which is least - not a fan of the extra collars and B a bit too understated.
