Not shaping up to be a white Christmas here. It's 52F right now and no snow forecast in the next 10 days, only some rain tomorrow. I looked it up and the nearest "official" weather station had this to report:

Albany, New York has had a white Christmas about 43% of the time since 1953. A white Christmas is defined as having at least one inch of snow on the ground at 7 AM on Christmas Day.

Very dark and overcast. No precip at the moment, but local radar shows snow just off the the west, will probably get here in about an hour. Between 1 and 2 inches predicted. Very cold air moving in for the weekend - it's 25F right now.

Ask my DH.
He seems to be my morning weather reporter, sitting here every day telling me the weather from over the world.
As if we are leaving for a VACATION somewhere TODAY!

Five minutes later: he wants to hop back in the sack!

Perhaps he has a weather fetish or something? Whatever it is, it isn't foreplay talk, to ME! LOL

Though, now that I think of it: he DOES look deep into my eyes when he is reporting his weather report....

It was in the 40s, snowed a little (didn't stick) but we're supposed to get more snow into tomorrow. Accumulation should only be an inch or less though. Then we are going to get an artic blast with the real feel high only 18 tomorrow and 12 on Sunday.

The weather is important to any of us with livestock. These wild temperate swings mean extra care for the animals and hope nobody colics anyway.

I am in my own weather bubble on top of this hill. I won’t explain the theory because nobody cares — suffice it to say I have seen pounding rain at my barn, 450 feet below the house and dry as a bone at the house.

Since the passing of my 30+ horse, the 28+ is not drinking enough water and these maniacal temperature swings, are not helping. I have him on electrolytes which helps but, if I give him too much then he gets the runny bums and that’s not good either.

Never fear - today will be a high of 35(F) and the temps will work up to mid-50’s by Tuesday and in the 60’s at Christmas.

We owners of livestock do closely watch the temperatures with good reason and while holding our breath. We would be ecstatic if they were more even keeled.🤐🤐

-8C at the moment .. could go down to -14C through the day. Sun is shining brightly. Good day for traveling to my sister's place for our Xmas get-together 🎄

It's plenty cold here on NE Ohio. About 26 degrees F. It's going to be the same tomorrow. We had a coating of snow early this morning.

Snow, snow and more snow. Checking the weather forecast we will have a white Christmas for the first time in several years. I like a skiff of snow for Christmas eve and day but not as much as we got last night and today.⛄

It is 3* 5:39 am Couldn't get the Rv door to latch because we had the door open too long and the part that connects to the door frame got stuck inside the door this morning. I pried it out with a butter knife. Lesson learned do not leave door open in freezing temperatures. BTW the door was open to let the dogs in after doing their business outside.
