For those with grandkids in particular be aware on line gaming websites like Roblox make for good predator hunting grounds. Roblox will start restricting the age of those who participate on their social media sites.

It came out over the summer after a report said their sites were a 'hellscape' for children and had a pedophile problem. Also has games like ' Diddy Party' or 'Escape to Epstein Island'

Video games are not just games. Always keep that in mind.

I don't think gaming websites, used by kids, are necessarily the problem. You don't find many pedophiles casing out nursing homes. They go where the kids are, playgrounds, schools, etc. And online, they will go where the kids are. Unfortunately, parents have to be just as cautious when their kids are in a playground or online.

Yes pedos will go where the kids but the online gaming sites are particularly deceptive because not only are parents blowing off the addictive nature of video games but they think it's just a 'game'. It's not just game talk. They say many predators try to get kids on different websites then in person meetings.

The game sites allow the predators to groom and/or work a victim over time because they know they'll go to those sites with regularity. The big difference online is the predator can manipulate people into giving personal information they wouldn't get stalking a person in the real world. They use that information to manipulate even more.
