The 2006 movie "End Game"

I am compiling a list of "full ride" movies and I just happened to extract "End Game" by mistake from the cabinet. So during my chips and beer lunch I've come to the conclusion that "END Game" is another multi alphabet agency conspiracy shoot em up where an unknown low end news reporter schools the innocent agent who solves the case. Remember now this, the antagonist have no conscience, are well trained, well weaponized retired military or intelligence agents who will kill the rabbit(s) or die trying. I have racked what little grey matter my skull if this scenario ever happened in the real world.

This particular holds no special interest to me. As far as plot goes I felt it needed less gimmicks and more realty.
