Memes and Quotes For Personal Growth and Comfort

I believe there is no "god", no heaven and no hell. We are created by a sperm cell fusing with an egg cell and simply cease to exist at the end. Our only "savior" is Father Death who takes us all at the end and ends all our pain and suffering. Our only option is to enjoy each day as if it were our last since it well may be our last....

I keep repeating many times during the day the following motto to live a good life when facing difficult problems: God grant me the Serenity to ACCEPT the things I cannot change, the courage and energy to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. That includes pain and suffering.

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

When we live, it is as if we will never die. When we die, it is as if we never lived.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of faith with power (2 Thes. 1:11).
