Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley says the Democratic debate schedule is rigged to favor Hillary. Some cold stares exchanged at a Democratic conference.

It is a party or private organization process. Same for Republicans. Maybe these parties should make membership more stringent and remind their members they are a member of that party and not a leader. But both the old fart establishment parties don't want 'members' forming their own party or running independently-the ever dreaded third party-ooooooo. In fighting can be worse than an actual opposing opponent.

They are controlled by both parties and that is the point. But many candidates and pundits say their private process is unfair, which it is if you voluntarily chose to become a member of one of them. So is that unfairness something to be addressed by the courts or by internal party rules, bylaws etc.
