Neighbors who take advantage.

yes I understand...... I don't think the USA has the contactless as a regular feature as we do in the Uk and Europe...
They have this thing on them ))) right? You either aim it at the machine or tap the machine's display screen with it, and on some machines you have to do both, for some reason. We have the cards, but some shops don't have the new machine yet.

Yes....we've had them for abut 10 years ... up until a couple of years ago, you could only spend a maximum of £50 using contactless ( you tap the top of the machine)... then they raised it to £100.. If you spend more than £100 then you have to put the card in the old fashioned way and tap a pin number in...

I'm a stroke survivor, somewhat handicapped, have balance issues and can't walk very well even with a cane. I have a young man who helps me every week with my trash, takes it out to the road and next day returns the toter to my front step. His mama raised him well; he won't take any money. He also loads my water softener with salt when needed, picks it up from the store. Because he won't take money and I can't cook anymore, I send him gift cards twice a year of a sizeable amount. I don't ever want him to think I take him for granted.

Over the past 4 years, we've developed a friendship. We both appreciate the relationship.
