Absolutely! PBS does far too much of that. Sometimes it seems like they show more "behind the scenes" episodes than actual story episodes.They show too much behind the scenes stuff that destroys the illusion and makes it not as interesting anymore.
I enjoyed it too, although some of the gags and characters got a little long in the tooth (e.g. Mrs Tishell, the pharmacist). My favorite attraction? Caroline Catz, who played Louisa, the school teacher, who also ended up as Doc's wife. She was always perfect, and I think a natural for comedy.I did love the show Doc Martin, so sad when it ended.
