Miami International Airport 24 hour live video and audio

Yep that confirms my beliefs, never going into Miami, Fla. ... :coffee: ...
Used to know my way around O'Hare, never going there again.
Been past Lambert many times, no plans to go there.
I live in Miami , love my house , great neighbors and still echo your words . Looking to move but hurricanes also a reason .

I'm not in the immediate Miami beach which is not bad at all .

Florida as a whole is not bad at all .

I have watched this feed over time usually at night. The audio could be better though. I usually keep the audio off and listen to www.liveatc.net/search/?icao=KMIA

I see tons of passengers and relatives snapping away and videoing without MIA intervention. You are also allowed to video TSA operations but do not get to close to the point of hindering their operation. Official news media outlets and movie production crews have to preregister their network and carry visible I.D. cards at all times while on airport property. The movie production crews are no longer allowed to bring any type of simulated weapon on the on airport property under any circumstances. The MIA camera is off airport property and privately owned. Every once in a while you'll hear a CXS train passing by the airport at the bottom of the screen.

I flew into Miami many times. It’s an old, outdated airport, but it still meets FAA requirements. I still remember taking off behind the ValuJet in 1996 that went down in the Everglades. I heard the distress calls over the radio that they had smoke in the cockpit almost immediately after takeoff and I requested Miami to do a go around to see if I could in any way help them. Miami denied my request and I continued on to New York.

The ValuJet plunged nose first into the Everglades taking 110 lives with it.

I remember that crash. My wife and I were vacationing in Clearwater Beach for 2 weeks and I also remember that one of the passengers was a military person heading home from the Mid East. I felt really bad for those that were on the plane and they all knew they were about to die. What a horrible feeling.

As it turned out, it was a series of events that took the plane down.
