Dear homepage online news stories. Stop with the blankety-blank videos. If I wanted to watch a video, I'd watch one. I want to read the news. Remember reading? Or has it gone the way of gas lights and cursive writing?

What's next? Books on video? (probably!)
 

You are just going to discount facts and actual statements in context that destroy your narrative anyway. Why not just move on when there is a video that hasn't been vetted or boiled down into sound bites by the thought police?

There are plenty of threads full of cat pictures and slob art to look at.
 
Got scamed at this major car dealership, went in there in my old clothes , with my wife who's on a walker, paid cash for a car, then found out from the DMV, the dealer, put a lien it, they are now telling me they are trying to take it off, as fast as they can ( I do carry a little weight in this state) just pisses me off, TV crew expected next week, if the lien is not off, been dealing with this sense 12/17/2024.

I forgot to come back here and give an update on Pixie,,, she spent 4 days in the doggie hospital, and they fixed her ... I won't bore everyone wth details , but she's back to being nearly normal again, she's on a special diet which includes some meds ..thank Goodness.. because my daugter was so scared that she was going to lose her ..
 
The darn taxman. I was sent two legitimate emails that say I need to act upon something The taxman is so busy I can’t speak to him. No Help categories fit this and waiting online goes to automated help - the area that nothing about my problem - after 30 minutes.

upday the lien was taken off, they could not stop saying how sorry they were, some people that I worked with awhile back, made them an offer they could not refuse, got the title today , all clear of any liens.

That's good to hear, but your satisfaction does not help us little people who are enduring the same.

How old are you? Judging from what you said, I guess you are not very old. If you are old enough to know better, then you are very fortunate to not understand why someone wishes a younger person would take care of the problem.

From what I have seen, if the very old don't take care of things, they don't get done because of the cultural differences between the generations.

In advanced age or illness, we need at least one of three things:
Lots of family and friends, enough money to hire people, or a nursing home.
