Fed up? Yes. My City says they don't clean streets, so it's the residents' job to sweep and bag leaves blown by wind against their curbs. A 87 yr old woman was told to sweep and bag leaves, or pay a $150 fine. She doesn't even have a tree. That doesn't matter. She swept and bagged. The next day, there were just as many. Fortunately, she's physically able to do the work. Some are not. They are bedridden or in wheelchairs. They pay people to mow their yards, but there is no service in this town that comes out to sweep and bag leaves at curbs.

how long do they think it's going to take, pappy... ? You know they did the same to half the woods behind my house if you remember..last year.. and they put this all up superfast..400 houses and new roads.. all happened so quickly...

c'mon doon't be a misery.. they are extremely talented sportmen and women ( dancers ).. but like any competition,after they've finished their set.. the audience are going to show their appreciation by applauding and cheering.. .. it's not all their fault that it's slightly over the top... the studio floor managers' job is to whip them up into a frenzy...( and it just so happens he's a friend of mine.. and he has a famous brother... who is a comedian..).. bet you can't guess who

The Knorr powdered soup base that I’ve been buying for years now has MSG in it. Checked other brands, liquid or powder and they’re all the same now. I like them better than better than liquid broth. I don’t have room to store it.

6 days a week and our quiet backyard has turned into a noisy circus. They are still putting in pipes, sewer lines and water. Haven’t started construction yet. Your guess is as good as mine, Holly. It will a while for sure.

yes it's terrible.. I fortunately had a whole row of houses between me and the part of the woods they'd bought for the construction so I didn't hear too much of those noises . What we did see a lot of was the Muck away trucks, rumbling up and down our roads with 16 tonnes of rubble and soil, and bricks.. all day every day.... but not the sound of the hammering and all of that .. that they on the other side would have heard, I feel for you pappy... you're little halcyonic paradise is being lost to you..:(

There are many things I dare not eat either, my digestive system is only too ready to take revenge or refuse to work.

Gone are the days of feasting and drinking at will, in far distant youth.

This afternoon got messy. I went to pick up one of the guys at the hospital after he got an asthma treatment. He felt better and the ATT store was nearby so we made a stop. I have been getting many spam calls each day and want it to stop. They were no help. They told me to call customer service.
It was raining on the way out. A stranger pointed to my car and showed us that I had a 90% flat tire. I called Triple A and was told that my membership had expired. I remembered having renewed it a few days ago. We decided it would be OK to drive to a service station.
After standing in the rain they said tire was fine. They put air in it and sent us on our way. I'm glad I wasn't alone.
My notes at home said I had paid AAA two days ago by card. The customer service at ATT sent me an app to bar spam calls which doesn't work. Still getting calls.
That's my vent for today.
