absolutely right I wish everybody did that, I always do..always .... It's actually the law here.. but no-one takes any notice of it...
 

Looking to move to a new apartment, I see that almost every new apartment being built is "Pet Friendly." They have those "wonderful" pet washing stations. They say, "Pets are Family Too."

Ya, ya! Dog pee and dog poo on the carpets and in the elevator! Dogs barking all the time because the owner refuses to buy hearing aids and doesn't hear the dog. Leave me out of this "wonderful" paradise.

I'm looking at "NO PETS ALLOWED."

We toured a senior’s home, pets allowed. We agreed we wouldn’t ever be interested in a place with rooms this close and carpets everywhere. We also weren’t sure what the soundproofing would be like.

yesterday I drove past a long queue..locally... I know half these people.. they were all dressed well, high end clothing or high fashion.., shoes etc.. most have expensive cars.. I didn't know what they were queuing for, it was outside a local hall...

Only later in the day did I discover that the hall has been set up twice a week as a food bank.. and these people were queuing for free food... :oops:

I saw a long line for a food bank about a month ago. While waiting in line, several of the people were checking their expensive smartphones. Our society is SICK!

Sounds to me like real "Low Class" entertainment but then most TV is pretty Low Class!

Proud to say that I cut the cable over 25 years ago. I buy my movies from Amazon. Anyone here for Gunsmoke, Rawhide and Whiplash?

I stopped listening to modern music back in the 80s. Really hate the modern stuff and that includes "twangy" country music.

Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves, Marty Robbins and Merle Haggard all sang with a clear voice and I understood each and every word.
Modern country sounds like a cat with it's tail in the door as it's being shut.
 
Bad dog owners that refuse to socialize their dogs and pull them away from yours when all she wants to do is sniff and say hello! So annoying and in my opinion abuse of animals, as they are social creatures and when they are too restricted they get crazy. Think of what would happen if we raised kids this way... crazy parent pulling their child away when a friendly kid wants to play. Nonsense!
 
I’m fed up! DH is having major surgery on his back this week. I am worried for him and for me. He’s very worried and he only has me and our son for support. Very estranged family. A few days in hospital then home to me and I am no Florence Nightengale. And Christmas is coming so all preparations will have to be done by me. Old age is certainly not for sissies.
