Yes, that's it!grow shree
I just move their carts to the side and continue on my way. Most shoppers don't mean to be rude, they just get distracted for longer than expected. Also frustrating are the store shoppers who leave those big blue carts in the middle while they search for something. I heard a senior person reprimanding a dolt for creating an unacceptable situation.
No, I understand, but in all assumptions of knowledge there is an element of risk. Even in 1 + 1 = 2 there is the risk of error. Descartes and others taught us that.Rant about anyone doubting we landed on the moon. Foolish, I can't waste time on such nonsense.
Ahh, that makes sense.@KSav They do that deliberately hoping that you'll give up and it won't cost them anything.
Maybe they thought you wouldn't notice that it was the same box.I'm forever shaking my head at the amount of stupidity that exists today.
Perfect example... I ordered my fruit tree's from a reputable site. Seemed simple enough... 2 peach, 1 apple, and 1 cherry. Boxes come yesterday. 1 peach and 1 apple in one box... all good. Second box, I busted open crushed box with a broken dead peach tree and no cherry tree.
Refused the box and Fed Ex took it back. Got hold of the shipper and they heard from Fed Ex and the box was to be returned to the shipper. So, I went out and bought the missing tree's locally. Dug a bunch of holes and planted everything. Sitting here this evening and low and behold... Fed Ex shows up with the same re-taped smashed, missing tree box. Now, online it shows item was refused and being returned to SHIPPER. Yet somehow, these stupid, stupid fools at Fed Ex can't grasp that simple fact.

I use QR codes, but only when they make my life easier. Like 'scan this QR off your TV and you won't have to use the TV remote to type in your streaming service PW'. I definitely agree on not using them to see a menu. That started with COVID, to not have everyone touch the same menu.QR codes in general.
hahha...that just happened to me just now in Tesco... completey blocked the aisle and the assitant wasn't anywhere to be seen.. so I pushed it, dragging my own trolley behind me right to the bottom of the aisle and into the clothing aisles... as I walked back casually with my trolley , the asistant was looking completely stunned as to where her trolley had gone...I’m venting about people walking side-by-side in the grocery aisle. The rows are too narrow for dawdlers.

OOOh I would never have an HP again... they hold you to ransom with the InK...I don't like 'doctoring' potatoes either. Earlier this year we bought some 'Amanda' potatoes that were really good, but were only available for a short time. Nobody in the UK seemed to stock the seed potatoes, so we decided to plant some of the ones we bought. Of the 9 we planted only 3 grew, but we did get a decent crop from them. We'll plant them in the spring and see if we can get a crop from them.
On the subject of printers, my all in one HP has stopped scanning or copying. I mostly use it for printing, but copying is a useful function. Printing still works OK, but looks like I'll have to buy a new one soon.
I tell the waitstaff I need a printed menu. They always have them.QR codes instead of menus in restaurants. Too cheap to have real menus printed? Fuggedaboudit. If you're that cheap, I don't wanna eat in your restaurant.
same here....I tell the waitstaff I need a printed menu. They always have them.
The hostess would look at us old folks and go get a paper menu without us asking, I know how to use a QR code, but sure do prefer the paper menu. Then I noticed other people asking for them.I tell the waitstaff I need a printed menu. They always have them.
