What was/is the most funny/ridiculous/odd name for a pet you ever heard?

My pet's names seem to evolve from a reasonable start into my own ridiculous baby talk.

I had a mini-dachshund named Ashley who ended up being called Atchey-patchy and quite often called sweetheart which became sweety, then see-see then, somehow, Mobuto Sese Seko.

I hope the neighbors didn't hear me call her.

we do that with our dogs too.... we even do it with the children.

My daughter is fast approaching 50 years old.. and if someone heard me address her for the first time.. they would have no idea what her real name is... :ROFLMAO:
 
Does fiction count? After Regan got shot Playboy ran a cartoon about Al Haig saying he was in charge, his dog's name was NATO. Actually that is a good dog's name, 2 syllables ending in a vowel.

My neighbor had a dog named Tidy Bowl, I assume because he was a thorough eater... Or a lady I knew that had 2 chihuahua named Tiny & Dinky.

@Della -- I did call one of our labs Amerigo Best Poochie a few times, but not anywhere as good as Abigale Van Urine.
 
SO called me to please pick him up at work and told me that we have a new room mate by the name of Fluffy, a sweet dog. So I get a dog treat and went to pick them up. There comes something flying towards me. I drop the treat. It is gone. Fluffy was a papered Rottweiler by the name of Dargon ..... ; a mile long and it stated with Devil. He loved me! His humans did find a rental and insurance so he went back home. Fluffy!

I had a couple of Rots that were rescued. Sweetest dogs ever!

You can also go into dark classical literature with Faust/Faustus.
 
When our children were very little we had a cat named Kittypuss, we didn't name him that he named himself. I would tell the kids "be gentle with the kittypuss" Kittypuss was still a kitten so he heard kittypuss a lot , then one day "be gentle with the kittypuss" and his head popped up and he came to me. He was the only cat we ever had that knew his name, he was also the last indoor/outdoor cat we ever had. Think about calling your cat when he is outside and you are calling Kittypuss!

We named our last cat Mickey Mouse and I have no idea why. Maybe it's something they request through that special cat telepathy.

I love dogs, I've been around literally hundreds of dogs, my daughter had boarding kennels, some so called dangerous dogs among them Staffys', Pit bulls, Cane Corso and the dogs were regularly let out for exercise with me there helping , .. and the only dogs who ever attacked me in my life were rottweilers
