They definitely have a Gerry and The Pacemakers vibe.

They look a little Beatle-ish, but I am falling over laughing at the thought of what the looks would have been on the Beatles' faces—especially John's—if Brian Epstein had suggested them doing those moves.

They look cute, though, and I like this song. I hadn't heard of Freddie and The Dreamers before. I love learning new music.

Tom Petty was born in Gainesville, Florida in 1950 and graduated from Gainesville High School in 1968. ​

I moved to Gainesville in 1967 and Graduated from the University of Florida in 1969. So we were living in the same town at some time. Maybe we even crossed paths a time ot two. Who knows? ​
