What insignificant things bug you?

Being raised in Deep East Texas - that was considered rude and disrespectful, and kids would be corrected on the spot.

We raised our children to use Thank You and Your Welcome and Yes Sir and Yes Mam.

God Willing, we will be around long enough to help ensure our little baby Granddaughter is taught the same.

I don't hate death. I embrace death.
 
:unsure: I've thought at times that we are meant to develop physical disabilities as we reach senior citizenship (75 & up) to enable us to be happy to die. Embrace being freed of those disabilities. Ya gotta feel sorry for senior citizens who lose their life while feeling healthy and full of vigor. 🤣

I have to say, people who say they don't like negative people bug me. Mainly because I don't understand it. Isn't this thread negative? isn't it just part of life that there will be some bad with the good? Are we supposed to only talk about the happy things and never admit to a bit of sadness or irritation. As I say, I just don't get who the negative people are and why they are bad.

And it was really hard at the last jobe when I was working, Hollydolly, because we were supposed to be so supportive of our students' problems (most were international students, students with disabilities, neurodivergent, etc.) and any time, I complained about something, I was told, yes, but that is a first world problem. So I decided to just keep my mouth shut and basically had only a superficial relationship with my colleagues. While in the past (not every job , of course) myself and my work colleagues would complain about a cafe being closed, a bad hair day, whatever and none of this, " but that's a first world problem."
 
For me, it's the drug commercials. Watching a woman dance around and sing about how she's gotten her Diabetes under control must be geared to morons. They get on my last nerve. And these ads actually pass muster with the drug company marketing departments?
