Time to get moving. Coffee pot is empty. Izzi is ready to go back to bed.

Check on the seed pots and genty water them, get the first bed out front cleaned up after the spinklers are done. A bit of this and a bit of that.

Lady Banks Rose turned green over night. Soon there will be tiny yellow rose bouquets. Lady Banks Yellow

Overcast with hit & miss rain. (Snow Might happen too.)

Hubby's helper is here today,,not sure what they are going to do today.

For that matter,, I'm not sure what I'm doing today.

I spend most of Sunday afternoon trying to get the vent tube hooked up to the dryer.
Lots of squeezing into tight places.
I kept telling hubby he couldn't get in to put it on.

Finally he came down to basement & got it hooked in!

He grumbled about where dryer was in basement.

That's when I told him that I was trying to plan a New laundry area upstairs.
Told him I'm getting afraid of falling going up/down stairs to do laundry .

Laundry on the main floor makes a lot of sense!

TGS was in a great mood yesterday so a fun day with him. Just a year ago, he was barely talking but now at nearly 3-1/2, he almost always speaks in full sentences. My DD and her children talked early and on a typical pace, but both my boys (twins) were like TGS. Slow to start, not even Dada & Mama until late, but their speech exploded like wildfire once they got the idea.

I'm so grateful that all our children chose to set down roots nearby. We spend a lot of time with them and our GKs - same pattern as we and our children had with my in-laws and my mom because DH & I planted our family near them. ❤️

Glad all on SF appear to have weathered the storms that swept the US these past few days. So Cal has a small possibility of rain this afternoon, but the weather forecast is otherwise clear for the next 14 days. So if the rest of the US gets more bad weather, it won't be due to anything we're sending it east.

Didn't get to the grocery store yesterday, but no biggie on that. DH has to go to our screenprinter in downtown LA (about 40 minutes each way), so I might dispatch him to pick up a few things on his way home. He's good-natured about running errands.

This week I'll be number crunching for our largest customer. I analyze the past year's sales, next year's projected sales, their stock on hand, and what they need to purchase to get through August. 'Tis the season.

Hope all have a lovely St. Patty's Day!

Don’t they have laundry facilities on the ship? Every ship I’ve been on has them.

The cruises for Italy were too expensive for me, so this trip is going to be with a budget tour company that transports the group around Italy by using the public train system. According to the itinerary we will get to have a couple boat rides, one at the "Italian Riviera" and another down around Naples.

Oh yeah? Send nothing east? Well I remember the song "Cupid....draw back your bow.." first came out in Calif. and began to show up, be played, in every town's rest stop the Trailsway bus in which I was traveling stopped on the way to my state, Wisconsin. Good thing I liked/like that song. 😁

Starsong, I took care of my grandson from babyhood to the age of 10 for many hours a day while his mother, my daughter, worked. The time came at his age of 10, my babysitting was no longer needed. And I miss that young boy I took care of. But proud of the mature, decent man he became.

I was only referring to bad weather in that post. A lot of cultural trends go from coast to coast, east-west and west-east.

Some minor rains today. Busy lately. A lush green spring wildflower season is rising here in Central California with my first serious field work likely within a week given calm enough breezes for camera focus stacking work. Lower back, still slightly sore from excessive skiing last Saturday. Have a nice spring facial tan. Body will be fine by time I get a couple more days in later this work week. Will be working on some gear issues, some computer work, and a supermarket supply day visit today.

Using his Sony a6700 with 56mm Sigma lens at F8.0 outside his residence today holding a Bluetooth remote shutter release. Downsized for web version. David on March 17, 2025 in his soft soft and warm, Eddie Bauer 650 fill goose down tops and 800 fill Mountain Hardware goose down pants, mid layers that I mainly use on cold days skiing.

And a 100% pixels crop from same original. Notice how at age 76.3 years, he still can brag about how his light brown hair still has just a little gray. Well except some has fallen out at the top so he has to wear a hat outdoors on sunny days now.

I had a plumbing job today and the guy retired from your area / Silicon valley , he loved it but said very expensive but he has not ruled moving back .

He worked in technology so showed him my Cingular flip phone , he was surprised I could still use it .
