Am I The Only One Who Doesn't........?

~Entertain
~Like barbequed food
~See what the big deal is about hot tubs
I've never been in a hot tub.

I've never entertained. My wife did that once. We had her whole large family here. They're a bunch of Irish heavy drinkers and you couldn't hear yourself talk while they were here. I don't get what all the noise was about.

I don't like to barbeque. A lot of fuss for nothing and it's real work to keep your grill clean.

It reminds me of camping. You spend a lot of money on outdoor gear to live like a homeless person.
I went backpacking with a buddy one time. After that, we used the gear for my sons who went camping with the scouts a couple times.
Come to think of it, I didn't care for the Boy Scouts either.

They were selling shirts with the Scout Troop's number on it. I wore it once and never again. Why? Because this guy came up to me and wouldn't stop talking to me about the shirt and the scouts as if I were heavily involved with it all. I couldn't get rid of him. So I got rid of the shirt.

I dont entertain very often - but I like having friends over sometimes , often for a BBQ, I like BBq's too.

and I like going in spa's - again not something I do often but I do enjoy when there is one at a holiday place or suchlike

Im on the fence about entertaining. I’m usually ready for my guests to go home sooner than they are, lol.

BBQ can be very good

Have no opinion on hot tubs

May I add: am I the only one who loves Jane Austen’s works?
I love Jane Austen movies. I tried to read Pride and Prejudice. But since I rarely finish a book....

I own P and P on dvd. It's from 1940 and has Greer Garson and Lawrence Olivier. I've watched it many times. The dialogue is just that good as it was in the novel. Jane Austen says a lot in a few sentences. Very quick witted.

I also enjoyed the movie Sense and Sensibility which also had good dialogue and good actors. Starring: Emma Thompson , Alan Rickman , Kate Winslet and Hugh Grant

I liked having the kids and grandkids up to the cabin for the weekends when we were all younger. People were everywhere, in tents, living room floor, etc. A weekend of that was enough though.

I like barbecue as long as someone else cooks it. (You are pretty much required to like BBQ if you grew up in Texas.)

When I had my own hot tub it was relaxing and enjoyable, but I wouldn't enjoy it with anyone other than my SO in there with me.

Entertaining - pass.
BBQ - some of it is OK but I am not a meat eater.
Hot tub.... Once, I was sitting near a hot tub at a swimming pool. I watched the attendant come by and start scraping all the gunk off the water line. Yikes. No way would I ever get in one of those.

What is the point of a hot tub? I just don’t get it. Why not just have a bath?
Pretty simple our whirlpool tub is meant for two and the jets do nothing but twirl water around.
You do not take a bath in a hot tub:) A good one gives massage options. SO's neurologist and physical therapist are very happy about the daily use.
