I've cleared a big space for the new chest coming later this week.. trouble is I didn't have anywhere to put the stuff I cleared, so it's all been ''tidily'' put into my bedroom.. but it's a PITA.. I've got to get stuff sold...

For me, I will be mostly inside when it hits 90 or so. If there is strong humidity, inside. Just like the winter only backwards. Where I live, the hallways are barely if at all, heated and never cooled. So I have lost the tolerance for the southern beach temps that I once loved. I do get out more in the spring and fall.
 
Good morning, Invisipeeps. It's going to be another sunny and warm day. I'm going to try real hard to get my butt in gear and get out into the garden to wreak havoc on more weeds and maybe even move another foot of monkey grass.

Talked to my brother yesterday who said they're expecting another blizzard at the end of the week and over the weekend. Oy! Isn't March supposed to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb?

@hollydolly If it's going to be a sunny day there, Dr. GG prescribes sitting in the sun to maybe speed up your recovery.

He's so far north in the upper peninsula of Michigan that we call it "South Canada." Our hometown is on the south shore of Lake Superior, and Canada is across the lake so they get lake effect sNOw. The wind blows across the lake, picks up moisture and drops it about five miles inland. Ten, 20 miles inland? They're fine because the sNOw falls before it gets that far.

Sorry you don't get to sit in the sun :(. Maybe tomorrow?
 
Good mornin', new friends. :) I've done a fair bit of Bible study, fed & watered the furkids, seen hubs off to work and guzzled enough coffee to git goin. LOL I need to get some blueberries potted, and some green/red peppers too. I'm going to check in on a couple of friends who are ailing. Then church tonight. I hope you all have a great day!

Wow... I wouldn't want all that Snow and blizzards,...

The sun has just popped up, so I might get the chance to go and sit in the garden for 1/2 hour... if it stays out !!(y)
 
Chilly day here, might get to 45F. But lots of sun, so I can play with my solar power experiments on an "ideal" Spring day today. One thing about portable solar is that you can keep adjusting to follow the sun altitude and azimuth. Permanent fixed solar produces shockingly poor results on the other hand. Simulating that I find that there are about 2 hours (max) per day that "harvest" a meaningful amount. That may get better near mid-Summer on ideal days.

So far there have been no surprises about its viability during the Winter or on an average day. Our climate just isn't that sunny on the average.

Husband woke feeling ill today, poor man. It's some sort of cold/flu thing. It will be rest and hot toddies for him today. 🤒

I will be doing the usual: walking the dog, household stuff, hanging out with peeps, spin bike, etc.

Hope everyone is feeling good today.
 
I will spend today preparing for yet another tumor removal surgery which happens tomorrow. This will be the third and probably last surgery of this type. After I recover the next step will be organ removal with major lifestyle changes. Starting to get a wee bit discouraged about this whole thing.

In an effort to preserve my mental and emotional health, I've almost completely disengaged from politics and the news in all formats. Never would have guessed how much of my time that would free up.

I read, do puzzles, and watch old movies instead.

If you don't have a library card, get one! You can stream Hoopla and Kanopy movies free. And it's easy-peasy to do. Lots of good movies on those two services. Most libraries also have loads of DVDs. If you don't have a DVD player on your computer, they're available as USB plug and play peripherals for under $25.
