Spent the weekend working on back porch and fire pit area

I’m exhausted! So much hauling furniture and pots, planting and pulling weeds, painting and cleaning everything. We also celebrated Grayson’s birthday so all the kinfolk came over and I cooked a huge pot of spaghetti, made a Ceasar salad and garlic bread, baked a German chocolate cake.

I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!

We moved last September @oldman, from Old Hickory TN to White Bluff TN. Davidson county to Dickson county.

@hollydolly thanks! And yes he sure is! He’s been going to physical therapy twice a week for several weeks now, and has been diligent about doing his daily PT exercises, plus he’s continuing to work out. He still has pain, his gait is not normal yet, and his foot’s swollen at the end of the day, but all that’s normal.

It annoys him that he has to walk slowly and doesn’t have the stamina he had before, nor the strength, but regardless he’s doing very well considering his age and type of injury.
