Finally, Got a Brace for Leg

Well, finally got to see a foot doctor, I was complaining that my foot was beginning to drag when I was walking. The problem started after I broke my leg in 5 spots, and then found out after being cut open 7 times for infection on the metal they put in my leg, and found out I also broke my ankle... All the nerves in my foot are nearly dead...

My foot began to drag at the end of the day, and I began tripping... So, they sent me for a nerve conductivity test, and they had the machine cranked up, and my foot didn't react to it... Put it on my other foot, and at one, my foot jumped straight in the air...

They sent me to a doctor who makes limbs and braces for people. Picked up my brace today, and what a difference. Just been walking around the house... Haven;t walked this good for years. Had to buy new shoes for it, so now a size 12, 5EEE wide...Can't wait to see if it will approve my golf game... I will take a picture of it, and post it in the next day or so... Going to enjoy walking again...

Mike I am sorry you had this problem, but real glad you found something to help the situation. Hope your golf game eventually gets back to where you were before the problem with your foot started. Good luck...

Yes they put some soles in the other shoe to bring it up to the same height, But I found out today that unless I get the other shoe (good leg) tight, my foot slips around because I went from a size 10/11 to a size 12 EEEEE, So, I will just wear two socks on my good foot...
