Your opinion: Women wearing sexy outfits?

Saturday in Budapest (Hungary). A beautiful and slim young Japanese woman was wearing in public at the bank of the Danube a garment very similar to the one in the pic. Sexy? Without doubt.

She is wearing an ill fitting bustier.

@George1959 - I'm sure the woman you saw was lovely, and I can see why you would find her sexy, but @Twostep is right; the model in the photo is wearing an ill-fitting bustier that, despite her beauty, does nothing for her.

For future reference, this is a properly fitted bustier. 😉

May include: A black strapless corset with a tulle skirt. The corset has a boned structure and a mesh panel in the front. The skirt is full and flowing.

Yes, the bustier of this model is i'll fitting, but the bustier of the young woman in Budapest was perfectly fitted. Her young boyfriend or husband did several shots of her with the Parliament building in the background. I only wanted to show the exact color and kind of the garment.

Women are smart and attractive wearing skirts or dresses, hems at the knee or lower. The tops should not show cleavage. Perhaps some women think they're being sexy showing a good deal of brust, but to me that's vulgar, especially in overweight women. Gals were ravishing in the 1950s wearing calf length skirts/dresses with the tops to the neck. Leave it all to the imagination!

Leave the street walker outfits to stars who are being paid to exhibit bad taste.

Nah, perhaps women just have their own ideas about what to wear, not your ideas of what they should wear.

I rarely wear skirts or dresses and I certainly wear above knee shorts in summer and I never wear tops to the neck- hardly street walker outfits 🙄

Um asking senior (age 60+) men to comment about women (probably 40 and under) who dress in provocative fashion?

like the old saying ...

If you guys can't bite
then don't growl

stop fantasizing about younger women and enjoy women your age

I'd rather discuss out-of-shape women who wear sexy clothes. I can't count how many overweight young women I've seen in yoga pants and a crop top with their bellies hanging out. It's not a "muffin top", it's a whole bread factory. Don't need to see that.

It is 2025 and as long as I have the shape and gall to wear short skirts, cleavage and get compliments I will do so. Hopefully the time for moomoos will not be here soon!

Nothing like a beer belly garage. Make that a furry one please:>)

It is "muu muu" , a loose fitting dress, some of these dresses can be very stylish for certain occasions and if you know where to shop for them and how to accessorize. The same as caftans and sarongs.

Although I am thin, have decent muscle tone for my age and my skin isn't heavily sun damaged, I choose to dress modestly and age appropriate at 60 plus because I rather be viewed as growing old gracefully than delusional.:ROFLMAO: Also, if you have a nice figure, you can wear slightly form fitting clothing that doesn't reveal a lot of skin but does show off your figure, unlike a muu muu. Lastly, no one wants to see crepe paper cleavage:ROFLMAO:

As for young women, it is 2025 and many young women push the limits, even those who are overweight and should be modest. It is mostly because they are attention seekers. But also, I believe it is partly because our society has been sexualizing young girls more and more over the last 3 decades and part of that can be seen in the styles of clothing available to pre-teen girls.

As for young women bike riding in skimpy tops, if a woman is silly enough to not protect her skin/body while riding a bike, then she may learn the hard way at some point. I've seen those types on the rail trails I ride my bike on and they usually don't wear helmets either. So road rash may be the least of their concerns one day.

Good points, UpstateGal. But IMO society hasn't been sexualizing young girls. Young girls have been sexualizing themselves, mostly due to the overall decline in morality and standards. Still, I really don't see much of that in regular society. Maybe that's the circumstance in big cities. Dunno.

We are all different. Otherwise it would be very boring out there.
60+ is when it it time for moo-moos, crepe paper cleavage and getting old gracefully? I just woke up from a hibernation doing just that. As long as all of it goes together and SO gives me that grin - all is well. No pull up pants and wrinkled vacation tshirts please!

I agree. It takes all kinds to make the world go round:)

Do women wear revealing outfits to attract attention? Of course we do! Or, in my case, DID.....a long, long time ago. Long, long, long.

I mean, why else would I have worn mini skirts? Skirts that were almost impossible to bend over or stoop down in. Skirts that made me freeze my azz off in icy weather. Skirts that got me disapproving looks from the old folks. I sure didn't wear them because they were *comfortable*. I wore them because I had great legs and I wanted to show 'em off

I find this thread so very funny. We were all born naked. Period. There is nothing wrong with that. As a nurse I have seen it all…and depending upon weight it looks pretty familiar except when gravity kicks in. Clothing is more about trends and a desire to fit inthan attracting the opposite sex most times. I get a kick when folks isolate individuals in their mind as being provocative without looking at their peers and inspirations. Myself…I can make people look and look hard traveling north in a pair of levis. It is when I turn back south that reality sets in….

Do I remember minis and short suede jackets with big fur collars and muffs. Very pretty but ... . https://www.etsy.com/listing/185685...191008005&dd_referrer=https://rd.bizrate.com/

Mumsy lectured me about my short skirts last summer. She is the one to do so! At 6" her skirts were standing only until she turned management in guest heels and pencil skirts.

Giggle! I had to stand facing the road, quickly pull my pencil skit up and step backwards on the running board to get into my truck with mud tires. SO was one enough to add handles at the door frames.
