What Didn't You Buy?

I was tempted to buy the Dash ice cream maker. There was one for $19.99 and another for $29.99 on Amazon. After watching several videos with varying results and seeing that it takes 30 minutes to complete the process, I decided against it. I can make sugar free frozen yogurt (a good sub for ice cream) and sorbet within 5 minutes using my Magic Bullet. The fact that the Dash is not dishwasher safe solidified my decision. It's a cute little thing though.

Knight, every once in a while, I think a cruise might be cool. Why didn't you like your cruise?
@fuzzybuddy

The port calls were pretty short. Mostly had only time to do the tourist shop thing. We would have liked time to tour. Then there was meal time. Seated with people we didn't relate to, table conversation not very pleasant. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The surprise of envelopes with suggested % for tipping just about everyone except the ships captain. Example as I remember the tip for the cabin steward was pegged at $150.00. Only good thing was my wife won a black jack tournament. That cash win helped some to fill the tip envelopes.

What we did enjoy on our bucket list was a 2 1/2 month road trip around America. Stopping sometimes for 3 or 4 days to check out local sights of interest.

I've been boycotting so I haven't been buying anything other than groceries. I need a new yoga mat and will have to get one soon. Everything else is going to wait. :)

I think it’s great that you are being mindful of your choices and how you spend your money but boycotting seems like it would have more impact on your life than the companies involved. 🤔
