A seagull dropped a fish on my head

Standing on the edge of the estuary, something hit me on the top of my head.
Looking down, there was a baby Bream wriggling around on the ground.

I picked it up and threw it back into the water.
Alas, although it did attempt to swim, ended up on it's back, not really going anywhere.
Very quickly, a seagull swooped and baby Bream was once again assailed in the beak of it's murderer.

The thread title is enough to keep me laughing 1/2 the day.

Can't see image :(

We had a lot of Ospreys in Central Florida where I lived. Their primary food is fish and they sometimes drop them in locations where you don't expect to see a fish. They look something like a sea gull. Maybe that's what you saw.
