She’s doing pretty good. She has dementia so I have to show her where things are now. But she loves it here.

10 minutes away. My daughter and assigned care taker for us. She’s also a nurse.

I knew she was a nurse, Pappy, you've told us before, but fantastic that she's only 10 minutes away...particularly now with Thelmas' diagnosis of Dementia

Four days here and all kinds of excitement last night. The complex across from us had some type of small fire. Can’t see any damage this morning so I guess things are okay. That reminds me to get rental insurance.

Forgot to mention that last night, our microwave just quit working. No particular reason it just died. There is a portal that renters can go to for repairs. Filled it in this morning and we now have a brand new one. Great service I’d say.

Looks like you were just in time for snow. We have been getting flurries all day but nothing is sticking. I know when I moved from FL back to NY, it took me awhile to adjust to the colder temperatures. Stay warm!

I’ve been cold since I got back Kat. Today I found my sweatshirts and they have made a heck of a difference. Darn blood thinners are guilty of this.

A good day yesterday. SIL took me over to my local VA and I got all my records switched up here and an appointment on Monday at 2 pm. Stopped for coffee on the way back and then pizza for supper.
Still fighting this cold I caught on the move. Head feels full and nose runs constantly.
We are finding our way around a little better. Going to try a nice diner we ate at once before. It’s over on Route 9 which isn’t to far from us.

Our forwarding mail is starting to trickle in. Mostly bills..
Much warmer here today. 76 degrees is so much better than what it has been
I had my first VA appointment yesterday and absolutely am impressed with my doctor. We discussed my meds in length and might make some changes on my next visit in 4 weeks. Cardiology is in the main hospital and she is setting up an appointment this week.
It’s a problem getting around as I do not know the streets yet. Just the opposite of no hills and flat like Florida.
We are enjoying our new place and its location. And, it’s so quiet here. No noise from the elevator and neighbors.
For now I’ll say have a good day.
