You should celebrate April 20th with a little weed @ 4:20 PM. All you need is a MD's signature on a prescription. Or you can buy it from that guy in the Home Depot parking lot for cash. Of course, there is always the obligatory "Weed messes your mind" news story on TV. Yes, studies have proven that if you've been hospitalized multiple times for cannabis overdose, you could lose mental acuity. DUH?????
I admit the last time I smoked some weed, I had a 28 inch waist. But others swear by it's pain-relieving effects.

I have read that ER visits have increased in the states where weed is legal especially among seniors and they think it’s causing cardiac issues. I’m not surprised as I never believed that it was totally harmless. However, I think everyone should be free to make their own choices.
 
I once worked in an alcohol and drug rehab where alcohol was considered far more lethal than weed - however having also studied human physiology in depth neither of them in too large amounts are good for health - it's just a race to see which one kills ya first

I definitely agree that alcohol is way more likely to kill you if you get addicted and overindulge.
 
My wife has a medical license to purchase Cannabis. She has been thru multiple spinal and facial surgeries.
Her pen relieves her stress. Maybe not so much the pain as being able to relax with it. I don't smoke so
I get little relief. Lol

She gets around well, most of the time. Her left knee is a problem now, maybe things need taken out in there.
Another MRI test is scheduled this coming week to make sure of the surprise.

She is an active girl, her family had a Timb-r removal service company, lots of trees. She is quite proud of
her service in it. I guess a redhead tomboy is a good quote.

My thoughts are if she had played football she would have been great. Our boy was Allstate center though.

Most likely the young just chug down 8 or so brews and die alongside a highway where there is no way it could have happened.
Those crosses are all over Midwest highways & really strange areas for them to have happened.

I remember the band practicing in our place over 30 years ago. Afterwords they would sit along the cement basement wall for an hour or so.
They were good kids, all 6. No trouble, no big mouths. Just good kids working hard day and playing songs at night if they had a place.
We would split cause of how loud it was. I was sure of the grass though, but they caused no trouble. The Country is a bit different than
metro. I never knew one of them kids to be any trouble.

I think plenty of alcohol and weed gives us capacities to play ; relax and laugh but not so much concentrate on say work - and definitely flying planes a no no like dear John Denver found to his cost and I loved him dearly but would have loved to have been his de-briefer??
 
I don't think anyone would classify weed as health drug, yet it's not as "evil" as some think it is. When you can stuff your body full of testosterone and other "concoctions/vitamins", on the shelves of "health stores, weed ain't that bad.
 
Tried MJ maybe a total of 1/2 dozen times in Vietnam and didn't care for the buzz vs alcohol.....I've got nothing at all against those that smoke it recreationally it's just not my thing.

It’s incredible to me that we have special high profile law enforcement events instead of a methodical plan to enforce the law 24/7.

Thank you for finally clearing up what 420 means in this context, but you're right. It sounds like you had better not smoke MJ or drink this weekend, but any other time is not so bad.
 
One one block an ALF, a weed drive through/home delivery, gas station, attorney, 55+ gated community. All connected by a sidewalk and those walker drivers are on it.

I lost my best friend of many years to weed. A bright neo natal nurse ...
