Earth Day - Tuesday, April 22nd

This afternoon for my Earth Day activity, about a mile easy sidewalk walk from my residence, sat for about a half hour on a shaded piece of old broken cement beside an urban stream at a location few others ever visit maybe a dozen feet across, shallow, with much lush vegetation everywhere since it is the peak of our inland coastal California springtime. Dormant trees all recently leafed out. Lots of bird sounds. Watched a colorful mallard waddle by. Mostly just absorbed staring at the passing movement and current of water.
