Thank you for telling me about Vertigo and how it effects you. I'm glad it's not as bad as before. I hope it will pass soon. That reminds me, I need to take my Vitamins. I appreciate knowing what it's about and hope it will go away and you can rest easily.Well, vertigo is really the sensations of dizziness or spinning, the room spinning around you. What I am suffering is a bout of vertigo caused by: "Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is an inner ear disorder that is the most common cause of vertigo, a very specific kind of dizziness that makes you feel as if the room is spinning around you."
I used to get these attacks much more frequently and severely, but it's been years since I've had even a moderate one, as I would classify this one. I have had much worse in years past.
It is unpleasant and I am dizzy, woozy, uncomfortable, but I can walk, look around, even read. It's not that bad. And it will pass, eventually. There are exercises I can do (which I will this evening) that sometimes help. They're worth a try.
Also, I've read that vitamin deficiencies can aggravate BPPV, particularly Vitamin D, so I've resumed my supplements. I'll get through it.
Hope that wasn't more information that you really wanted. LOL
I have family that is out of state but we exchange emails on occasion and talk on the phone once in awhile. I come here to be social and learn different things. So, I'm doing ok. Art is a great hobby to have! I used to do drawing. I, too, may try on online Art class when I get situated better. Many of my friends have passed on, too. I hope your day is good!Oh, that is too bad. I hope that you have some family and friends around to chat with sometimes. Nothing is really ever new with me and hubby and kitty, as we are probably the most boring couple you will have met. We don't go out anywhere except to shop.
We have not travelled for a vacation anywhere for over 10 years. I go out to the library and to various malls just to get out. Tried the Seniors Center but somehow just not enticed to go there. Most days, I do my art, or sewing, mostly art which I truly enjoy.
I have purchased many online art courses to amuse myself with. I have no friends as they died in their early 60's and somehow my most recent work colleagues, (I worked until I was 67) I thought they might become friends, but that did not work out.
I'll keep that in mind. I kind of need a break from raising pets, though. I also can't pay the high Vet bills. Pets are a luxury now and I can't do it anymore. I may get a fish or two, though, but in time. I'm trying to just care for myself right now. Thanks for your post.I am a fish fanatic and have 2 or 3 pics of my tanks in one of these forums but in your case do not rule out female Guinea pigs and suggest them as easy no walking required yet a mammal that bonds with you .
Always considered Ruth to be a caring person. She's almost too delicate for this ugly world. Ruth, I mean that in the most loving way I can express. You're like the Willow, you bend but never break.Ruthanne do recognize you from way back but my memory dims also - are you still a caregiver and who to if you don't mind me asking?
That's so sweet @Pepper of you to sayAlways considered Ruth to be a caring person. She's almost too delicate for this ugly world. Ruth, I mean that in the most loving way I can express. You're like the Willow, you bend but never break.![]()
Maybe a new plant Ruthanne? I just tended to mine. Cleaned off their table, watered and spruced them up. They look happy.I'll keep that in mind. I kind of need a break from raising pets, though. They make me feel good too.
So many medicines have bad side effects. Maybe he can prescribe one that is better. Thanks and I wish you a good weekend!I await a call from my doctor for my kidney disease. We do a televisit form of doctor visit. He is nice but I don't like that he wants to have me take high priced pills and they have such horrible side effects. I will be nice back to him and hope the visit ends fast.
Hope all goes well for you today, Ruthanne.![]()
I agree. Ruthanne is a caregiver/ caregiving person , no matter what. However the situation may change.Always considered Ruth to be a caring person. She's almost too delicate for this ugly world. I love eggs and ran out so might head over to Walmart now buy some plus they have some type coin machine where you put your coins and it gives you a voucher you use in the store .I'm not going to buy eggs until the price comes down. I don't eat them fast enough to warrant paying that price!
Well if you are thinking of a fish or two, consider male guppies as unlike bettas / plakats they do well down to 68 degrees and if colder go with white cloud mountain minnows .I'll keep that in mind. I kind of need a break from raising pets, though. I also can't pay the high Vet bills. Pets are a luxury now and I can't do it anymore. I may get a fish or two, though, but in time. Wow, those prices are skyrocketing too?
Are the impatiens you get , the regular ones that like shade and flower with very little sun shine??
It's very nice looking!Well if you are thinking of a fish or two, consider male guppies as unlike bettas / plakats they do well down to 68 degrees and if colder go with white cloud mountain minnows .
Either way you like plants so a nice big bowl or 2 to 5 gallon small tank with easy plants and a cheap white light led desk lamp and you have a piece of art .
The plants act like a filter .

Thank you I have huge tanks and even few glass bowls all over the house I certainly relate to Don Knotts in The Incredible Mr. Limpet .It's very nice looking!
I don't remember you , sorry. I really don't want to talk about the caregiving at this point. I hope you are doing well.Ruthanne do recognize you from way back but my memory dims also - are you still a caregiver and who to if you don't mind me asking?
